This workshop is for members of the Bailies Wildlife group. Philip and Lizzie Bacon will show us how to build a rig to take good photos of pine marten on the trail cameras. We will each build our own rig to take away and use. The rig is designed to orientate the pine marten to obtain a good picture of the pale-coloured bib on the pine marten's chest.

The aim is to see if we can identify individual pine martens from the shape of the bib - a good photo is essential for this. If it works this method would be cheaper than using DNA analysis.
