The Bailles of Bennachie and Puppet Animation Scotland are hosting Woodland Stories with Grace Banks at the Bennachie Centre. Grace is a local storyteller who will take you on a journey feasting on fantastical creatures and Bennachie beasts. See puppets made by Keig, Old Rayne and Chapel of Garioch primary schools: some will be hiding in unusual places - will you be able to find them all? A fun event for all the family; please wear appropriate clothing as the session will be outdoors (if the weather is very bad the sessions will be in the Centre). Booking is essential. Call 01467 681470 or email bennachie.warden@aberdeenshire.gov.uk to book. All children should be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited to 15 people per session. The event is part of 'Across the Grain' a festival of Doric and traditional music taking place across Aberdeenshire in October.
