Grant Awarded to Bennachie Landscapes Project for Geophysical Survey at Druminnor Castle

The grant of £4020 will be used to undertake a geophysical survey at Druminnor Castle.
The site will be surveyed using a system known as 'Ground Penetrating Radar'. This should make it possible to create a three-dimensional image of any buried features and to enable us to better understand some of the features already recognised through excavation.
It is also hoped that this information will permit us to plan further excavations in order to clarify the development of the castle.
