Right Place, Right Time - Craig Captured In Calendar Image

A regular visitor to Bennachie, Craig Thomson, was in the right place at the right time when one of our Trustees, Alex Doig, captured him on the top of Mither Tap. This beautiful image is the cover shot in our Bailies of Bennachie calendar 2024. Craig later told us,
"When I first saw the photograph with the date it was taken, I realised it was me in the picture. On that evening, I was sheltering from the wind on Mither Tap for a while, but several times would go back up to check on the dramatic sunset. One of those times, totally unknown to me, Alex Doig snapped the photo from Millstone Hill."
