A Breath 'O Bennachie: Bennachie Views

May 2020

The conservation charity, the Bailies of Bennachie, has released the latest video in the ‘Breath O’ Bennachie’ series. ‘Bennachie Views’ shows outlooks of the iconic hill range from communities in the surrounding countryside.

The project aims to bring the space and freedom of the hill to people staying at home during the current COVID-19 crisis.

This is the third video in the series and like the others is available on YouTube and can be accessed from the Bailies web site and Facebook page.

The previous videos "A Walk Up Mither Tap" and "If Stones Could Speak: Archaeology on Bennachie" are both still available on YouTube.

Bailies Outreach officer, Fiona Cormack explained:

"During this current COVID-19 crisis people are not able to access the hill but we can still admire its beauty from the towns and villages nearby. This video shows different aspects of the range from Oldmeldrum to Alford and places in between. Our plan is to release regular slideshow videos while the lockdown continues."
