Bailies Launch Photograph Competition For 2022 Calendar

The Bailies of Bennachie are asking for submissions to a photo competition to choose outstanding images for their 2022 fundraising calendar. The photos will be shortlisted with 30 going forward to a public vote on Facebook and the Bailies web site.
The outreach officer of the Bailies, Fiona Cormack explained:
“Bennachie is a beautiful hill range and is a constant inspiration to photographers. We held an online competition for this year’s calendar and were blown away with the quality of photographs submitted. The calendar is a major fundraising event for us and the 2021 one was a sell out. Following that success we plan to repeat the format for next year.”
“Photographs should be taken of or on the hill and need to be of landscape format. As the winning pictures will be published in our calendar high resolution photos of at least 5mb are suitable for consideration. Photos can be sent into publications@bailiesofbennachie.co.uk - the closing date for submissions is the 6 April 2021. The thirty shortlisted photos will be on display on the web site and Facebook and people can vote for their favourites by emailing votes or ‘liking’ certain photos. The photographs will be displayed between 12th and 20th April 2021.”
“Snowy photos are always popular but we are looking for photos from all seasons and the photographs will be shortlisted by season so we have a good spread of spring, summer, autumn and winter photographs.”
