Honorary Degree for Colin

We are delighted to share the fantastic news about Dr Colin Shepherd - Archaeologist, academic and author's Honorary Degree.
Colin is a leading figure in the Bennachie Landscapes Project, jointly developed by the Bailies of Bennachie and the University of Aberdeen.
Our Deputy Chair Allan Will was invited along to witness Colin receive an Honorary Degree from the University of Aberdeen.
It was a spectacular ceremony and this award is so richly deserved.
Colin has authored, co-authored and edited numerous publications on the history and archaeology of North-east Scotland. His work has helped to extend the understanding of the history and archaeology of NE Scotland. He is currently editing a new book titled Cultural Landscapes of North-East Scotland : Collaborative Research in History and Archaeology, which is expected to be published in spring 2025
