Wildlife Group Talk on Mosses & Liverworts

Our Wildlife Group enjoyed a Mosses & Liverworts Talk delivered by Petra Vergunst.
One of the benefits of being a Bailie of Bennachie is the ability to join in walks and talks. Petra's talk was a most enjoyable insight into Mosses & Liverworts. She spoke very knowledgeably and piqued an interest in the newer members of the group. We were able to view them up close with the help of a 10x magnification hand lens, which opened up a whole new world.
Next time you are out, stop and have a closer look at a pile of moss, you might be surprised at what you find.
