The Bailies Bennachie Landscapes Archaeology Group have been busy digging over the summer months.
- Work proceeding at the dig with more early walls appearing
- Barry and Brain digging ever deeper with Alistair finding a cannonball in the same area
- Medieval Mason’s mark noted by Iain during excavation on a dressed stone block from an early building and subsequently reused in building re-modelling
- Cannonball - By the end of the day when all were thinking of packing-up Alistair found this nice little find inspiring us all to work on
