The Maiden Stone - A New Opera by Joe Stollery

Joe Stollery is in the middle of composing an opera to be performed on Bennachie, a hill in Aberdeenshire, on September 5th and 6th, 2014. It’s a small scale affair with two singers, six players along with schoolchildren from 5 local schools who will not only take part in it, but will also create soundscapes and improvisations which will feature during the performance.
So we need to raise £4000 to put it on so we’ve set up a crowdfunding website where people can support the project with a little bit of dosh.
