Bennachie Landscapes Big Dig

The Benachie Landscapes Big Dig has been going for a week and have been so lucky having such good weather, there are volunteers helping from the Bailies, Aberdeen University and the local Community, they are working on 2 sites, Hillside and Shepherds Lodge, they spent the first part of the week measuring and drawing the sites and are now digging in and around the 2 houses, there have been a lot of finds including various pieces of ceramics, part of a clay pipe, a ceramic marble and pieces of metal, these will all be cleaned and recorded after the dig, if you would like to get involved during this weeks dig meet at the Bennachie Centre at 9am.
