We met at a frosty Rowantree Car Park and made our way up onto the plateau paths to do some path repairs, we had some volunteers from Highland Frontier Group join us so we split into 3 groups, 1 group put in 3 new water bars on the Craigshannoch Path while the other 2 groups cleaned out the water bars and box drains along the paths to Mither Tap, Craigshannoch and Oxen Craig, the weather was not too bad to start with but gradually got misty and wet. We all met back at the carpark and had cake and biscuits and said a sad farewell to Mike Neely who has helped run the work parties for the last few years, he is moving south and will be missed by the Bailies.
