Bailies of Bennachie AGM 2012

We met at the Chapel of Garioch Village Hall on Sept 20th for the AGM, Jackie Cumberbirch (Senior Bailie) gave a slideshow presentation on what the Bailies have achieved over the last year and thanked all the current Bailies Council for their hard work, Mike Neely (Treasurer) presented the accounts and then Council Members were voted in, many thanks to all who stayed on the council and welcome to our new members, we then stopped for tea and lovely home bakes.
We then had a talk and slideshow from Steve Willis from SWT who is the Project Officer for 'Save Scotlands Red Squirrels' it was very interesting to see how the Grey Squirrel population can affect Red Squirrels and what can be done to stop the decline in Red Squirrels in Scotland.
