November Work Party

Due to other committments by some volunteers there was only 7 people at the November Work Party, we met at the very frosty Back o'Bennachie car park, we were pruning the Willow structures, this is carried out annually to keep them tidy, we noticed this year that it had not grown as much as previous years and some parts were dead, instead of pruning it too hard, in places we threaded the willow shoots through the structure to try and thicken it up and fill in some of the gaps, we finished this at lunch time so sat and had lunch and a chat, we then walked along the path clearing some of the drainage ditches to stop the water running onto the paths.
