March 2024
The first Volunteer Work Party of 2024 saw a great turnout on what started as a very wet and cold morning. There were a number of new faces on the day. New and old were unperturbed by the weather and the day dried up nicely allowing for some great work to be carried out.
This is the summary from the Team Leader... 'Work done: Burnside completed, water drains by pond, pond area cut back, gullies cleared from Burnside up to west end, west end to timeline junction vegetation, ditches and gullies done. Timeline Mither Tap, vegetation cleared and water bars (up to 50m from junction and stopped). Cairn Couttie checked and surrounding water bars cleared.'
