December 2023 - Work Party Repair Willow Tunnels

The final planned work party of the year was held at the Willow Tunnel at the Back of Bennachie. The volunteers had to cope with the top growth of the willows, and weave this back into the structure. It was a beautifully sunny, crisp day, and the frost on the trees was magical. The hot soup at lunchtime was very welcome. Even the robin came to admire our work!
The work parties will now go into hibernation for a couple of months, and restart on first Saturday of March.
