Wildlife Group Talk on Mammals
March 2024
Our Wildlife Group went for a Walk and Talk on Mammal spotting. Highlights included seeing a common toad, shown in hand, a couple of toads swimming in the loch (piggy back style!) and a badger sett.
A great morning was had with lots of evidence (tracks and spraint) of otter and badger in particular.
Sounds and signs of spring too with the toads and a chiffchaff calling.
