Bailies AGM 2022

Jackie Cumberbirch the Bailies present Chair opened the meeting with a welcome to all, there were 37 attendees with the furthest afield being Yorkshire and Essex.

Previous AGM minutes were accepted and an update to the Bailies Constitution was also passed by those present.

Alan Henderson, Treasurer, reported that the accounts had been signed by the independent examiner on 16th February 2022.

Jackie Cumberbirch shared a presentation of her report covering Bailies activities during 2021, these can be seen in our Annual Report

Angela Groat, Andrew Wainwright and Jackie Cumberbirch announced they would be stepping down as Trustees and were thanked for their contribution to the bailies by Ann Baillie (deputy chair)

The remaining existing Trustees were all invited to be re-elected. Fiona Cormack was nominated and accepted as a new Trustee.

The meeting closed, and a presentation was made by Professor Gordon Noble, Head of Archaeology at the University of Aberdeen, entitled The 2019 Excavations and Discoveries on Mither Tap

The first meeting of the Trustees is the 28th February at Garioch Heritage Centre, where the office bearers will be appointed.
